Version: 2026.04
Hey Binderr Community,
One of the most requested and heavily used features on the platform is getting a major upgrade.
Screening has officially been reworked from the ground up.
When we first launched screening, it was a side feature built in response to early client requests. Since then, it has grown into one of the most important tools for compliance teams using Binderr. Today’s update gives it the space, clarity and power it deserves.
Key Improvements
New Dedicated Screening Experience
- Screening now has its own full-page workspace (no more working in a cramped sidebar).
- Much better overview, easier navigation and a cleaner layout that makes reviewing large numbers of results significantly more comfortable.
- Future-proof foundation so we can keep improving the feature based on your feedback.
- Run Screening on Anyone
- You no longer need an existing entity in the system.
From the new Screening index, click “New Screening” and instantly screen individuals or organizations using name, country, date of birth, company name or registration number.

Improved Results
- We now combine results from multiple screening providers instead of relying on just one.
- This gives you broader, more reliable coverage and reduces dependency on any single data source.
- The plan is to potentially add more providers in future updates for even better results.
Smarter Review Workflow
- Results are now organized into Profiles → each containing relevant Hits → each containing Sources.
- Run AI Analysis on hits to get automatic summaries of sources helping you understand context faster.
- Bulk discard multiple profiles or hits at once with pre-filled justification notes (great for common false positives like “John Smith”).
- Improved filtering by country, date of birth, PEP, sanctions, adverse media and more.

New Screening Settings
- Global settings page for Daily Monitoring and AI Screening preferences.
- Configure default keywords and toggle features on or off.
- Additional Quality-of-Life Updates
- Clean report downloads for completed screenings.
- Better status indicators and progress feedback during screening.
- Enhanced note-taking with template suggestions.
Developer Notes
We listened closely to how you were actually using screening, especially the pain of reviewing dozens or even hundreds of hits in a tiny panel. This rework focuses on giving analysts more space to think, faster ways to dismiss false positives and better tools to focus on what actually matters: making informed compliance decisions.
Human oversight remains essential in screening, which is why we optimized the repetitive work while keeping you firmly in control.

Rollout
The new Screening experience is currently in final testing and will begin rolling out to all users very soon.
We’ll be monitoring performance and gathering feedback closely after launch.
We want your thoughts!
Try the new Screening workflow and let us know what you think. What works well? What could still be improved? Your feedback directly shapes the next iterations of this feature.
Thank you for helping us build better compliance tools.
