Binderr Spring ’25 Release

Fresh updates, smoother workflows, and more customisation - here’s what’s new.
As we wrap up the first quarter of 2025, we thought it’d be a good time to share what’s gone live in our Spring release. Some of these changes you’ve probably already spotted. Others might have flown under the radar. Either way, they’re all aimed at making onboarding and the overall experience in Binderr faster, more flexible, and a bit more enjoyable.
Here’s a look at what’s new.
A fresher look for entity profiles
We’ve made some meaningful updates to entity profiles to help you get to the important stuff faster. Now, when viewing an entity, you’ll find the verification status right up top, giving you instant visibility into what’s been completed and what’s still pending. Just below, a new consolidated panel brings together all related involvements, shareholders, subsidiaries, ownership links, and known associations. It’s a small shift that makes a big difference when you’re trying to quickly understand how everything connects.

Dashboards that do more
Over the past few months, we’ve been making steady improvements to the home screen dashboards. We’ve cleaned up columns for better readability, added more granular filtering options. Search has also had a tune-up. It now returns more accurate results and does a better job of identifying potentially related entities, which should make exploration a lot easier.

Questionnaires: 22 updates, and more yours
Questionnaires are a big part of how our users collect and manage information, so this quarter we placed extra focus here. We rolled out 22 updates, from usability tweaks to new functionality. One big win: you can now fully brand your questionnaires by adding your company logo, and we’ve reduced Binderr branding. You also now have control over the email message that goes out when you send a questionnaire link to your clients. That means questionnaires not only look more like your own, but feel more professional and aligned with how you communicate.

Liveliness check visibility
For ID Verifications that include a Liveliness Check, we’re now storing all related documentation in the entity’s Documents section. That includes the front and back of the ID, four screenshots from the Liveliness Check, and a short video created from those screenshots. This gives you greater transparency and an extra layer of auditability - especially useful when demonstrating compliance.

A smoother experience for Customer Risk Assessments
We’ve made some thoughtful updates to our CRA flow. Visually, things are cleaner and easier to follow. When selecting countries, you’ll now see a list of recently used ones first, which speeds things up nicely. And the CRA export PDF has been improved to include more relevant information in a format that’s much easier to read. It’s all designed to help you complete your assessments faster and without compromising on quality or clarity.

Screening flow keeps getting better
After the full redesign of the screening flow at the end of last year, we’ve been iterating based on your feedback. This quarter we focused on refining the experience further - small improvements that make the flow more intuitive, efficient, and reliable - and we’ll keep improving it over the coming months to make sure it stays that way.

A refreshed light theme
Binderr’s default theme and all our branding is designed around dark mode. But we’ve noticed more and more users switching to light mode lately, so we’ve given it a refresh. The new version feels brighter, cleaner, and more polished, while still staying true to the Binderr look and feel. Try it out and let us know what you think!

And the smaller stuff that matters
Behind the scenes, we’ve shipped 549 other fixes and quality-of-life improvements across the platform. Most of them small, but all of them meaningful in the way they help make things run more smoothly. Some of these you’ve probably already felt. Others you’ll notice over time. They all contribute to a better Binderr.
Thanks, and what’s next
We’re already working on what’s next, and we’ll have more to share as we move through the first half of the year. Some big updates are in the pipeline, and I’m genuinely excited about what’s coming.
If you’ve got ideas, feedback, or questions, I’d love to hear from you. Just write me an email directly on matthew@binderr.com.
Thanks again for being part of the Binderr journey.
